Maternity Financial Assistance Program
This is a social security initiative, which is run under the supervision of
( Government of Bangladesh ).

 

 

 

 

What is the purpose of this assistance?
The main goal of this program is.
Ensuring a safe pregnancy and delivery for the mother.
Healthy birth and proper care of the child.
Assistance with nutritious food and medical expenses.
Providing financial relief for health examination expenses.

What kind of benefits are available?
If selected, a mother will receive
1. Cash financial assistance at regular intervals.
2. Sending money directly to the bank or mobile banking (such as: bKash/Nagad).
3. Opportunity to meet medical and nutritional expenses.
4.  Financial security for the mother and child.

 

 

 

The amount and period of assistance are determined by the government.

Who is considered for this benefit?
Generally eligible to apply
Citizen of Bangladesh.
Mother from a financially disadvantaged family.
Currently pregnant or recently gave birth.
Usually mother of the first or second child.
Age usually between 20-35 years.
Not receiving any other government maternity allowance.

Priority is given to poor, helpless and special needs mothers.

Who can be excluded?
Members of a well-off family.
Mother in government service.
Recipient of multiple government allowances.
Providing incorrect or false information.

➡ Pregnancy medical papers.
➡ Birth registration after the birth of the child.
➡ Photo (passport size).
➡ Bank account / mobile banking number.
➡ Active mobile number.

⚛ Go to the nearest Union Parishad / Ward Office / Social Service Office.
